The Pueblo woman charged with leaving her infant on railroad tracks Friday made numerous references to supernatural entities during her interview with police and claimed Jesus Christ pulled the child from her arms and placed her on railroad tracks near West 29th Street.

On Tuesday, Jessica Sloan, 31, waived further advisement of the potential criminal charges she faces and remains in Pueblo County jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Magistrate Dorthy Radakovich said that questions of bail and possible mental health issues are better left to the district court.

Sloan was arrested Friday on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and child abuse.
