Recreational sales of marijuana in Pueblo County set a record in June and are averaging more than $1 million a month through the first half of the year.

The Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder’s Office reported that $1.6 million worth of marijuana was sold from the county’s seven recreational pot stores in June.

Through the first half of the year, the first for legal recreational weed sales, $6.9 million worth of product has been sold in Pueblo and the county has collected over $400,000 in revenue.
