Authorities said a police dog helped them find four pounds of methamphetamine valued at more than $100,000 during a traffic stop in Pueblo County.

Pueblo County Sheriff's dog alerted deputies to the narcotics after they pulled over a pickup truck Friday, authorities said.

On Tuesday, members of the Drug Enforcement Agency's Southern Colorado Drug Task Force, which is based in Colorado Springs, searched the truck and found the drugs in hidden compartment above the engine.

Multiple people are being investigated, police said.
