The ranks of retail marijuana licensees in Pueblo County continues to grow, which means the number of licenses available for 2014 continues to dwindle.
On Monday, the Pueblo Board of County Commissioners approved two more applicants looking to sell recreational marijuana in the county, bringing the total number of licensees to seven.
The county has capped the number of retail stores this year to 10 and Anita Garcia, the county’s marijuana licensing specialist, said she’s received an application for the eighth available license and expects to see two more applications soon.
The commissioners approved licenses for the Hashish House, 428 S. McCulloch Blvd., and the Organic Seed, 41 N. Precision Drive., both in Pueblo West.
