Colorado Springs Sky Sox versus Memphis Redbirds (Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) 6:35 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Security Service Field

Top Redbirds prospects

Carlos Martinez, RHP: The Cardinals' No. 3 prospect, according to MLB.com, has a big-league fastball in the upper-90s complemented by solid curve and other breaking balls. He is 4-2 with a 1.76 ERA after starting the season in Double-A.

Kolten Wong, 2B: The organization's fourth-rated prospect went straight from Hawaii to Double-A last season and has solid numbers with Memphis (batting .303 with 44 RBIs, 10 home runs and 19 stolen bases).

Eric Fornataro, RHP: The Cards' No. 15 prospect is being turned into a reliever who has flashed signs of potential thanks to a fastball in the upper 90s with a lot of sink that forces groundouts. He is 0-3 with a 7.47 ERA in 32 games (37 innings).

Impact players

Brock Peterson, 1B: The former Twins draft pick (2002, 49th round) leads the Pacific Coast League with 23 home runs while batting .301 and adding 24 doubles and 72 RBIs. He made his MLB debut earlier this season.

Jamie Romak, LF: The Canadian career minor leaguer is third in the PCL with 20 home runs and leads the team with 28 doubles.

Ryan Jackson, SS: The 2009 fifth-round pick for St. Louis made his MLB debut this season thanks to a .286 average
