PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — The Music Hall in Portsmouth, N.H., is holding multimedia tours starting this weekend.
The one-hour tours will take visitors through the Art Nouveau lobby through the backstage rigging built by sailors in the late 19th century.
Visitors can stand on the same stage that has seen performers from Buffalo Bill to Ethel Barrymore, and from Lily Tomlin to Al Green.
The tours will be offered year-round. They are part of the theater's 135th season.
The first tour starts at 2 p.m. Saturday. Tours for the rest of the month are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.
