Juniper Valley Ranch, 16350 S. Colorado 115, has opened for the 67th season with some new menu items and adult beverages.
"We will continue serving made-from-scratch dinners using our Grandma Ethel's recipes and world-famous skillet-fried chicken," said Preston Dickey, fourth-generation, marketing director and pie czar. "We also now feature seasonal pies with local fruit made in-house daily, and a widely updated beer and wine list with a big emphasis on local producers. We are even adding seasonal rotating cocktails to the menu."
Chicken-fried steak is the Friday night special. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Summer Thursday hours to come. No credit cards accepted. Details: 576-0741, junipervalleyranch.com.
