Two people were ambushed in the parking lot of a bar Wednesday night, when police said two robbers held them at gunpoint and attacked one of the victims with a stun gun.

Colorado Springs police received reports of an armed robbery and shots fired at Cleat's Bar and Grill, located on 6624 Delmonico Dr., near Rockrimmon Boulevard, around 10 p.m.

The two victims told police they were walking to their cars when two armed men held them up and demanded money, one armed with a handgun and the other with a stun gun.

One of the robbers fired a shot into the air to threaten the victims, police said, and the other used the stun gun on one of the victims.

According to police, the robbers fled on foot toward a nearby apartment complex. Officers searched the area but did not find the two men.

The victims were not injured and police did not give a description of the attackers.

Anyone with information can call Colorado Springs police at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
