A jogger was taken by surprise Sunday when an unidentified man robbed an iPod and fled, Colorado Springs police said.

According to police, the suspect approached a jogger around 8:42 p.m. in Memorial Park near Pikes Peak Avenue and ripped the victim's iPod from a holder on an arm.

The suspect was described as a male in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot-9-inches tall, 165 pounds, with short hair, wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts with a yellow stripe on them, police said. The jogger was not injured.
