Colorado Springs police were looking for the driver of a white Dodge Durango that rammed into an undercover police vehicle near Acacia Park downtown about 5:40 p.m. Friday.

'We'd sure like to get a hold of this guy because we have a lot of questions for him, ' police Sgt. Jim Jeffcoat said.

Two undercover officers saw the Dodge run a red light and stop in front of them. The man, who had a passenger, warned officers to 'watch out, ' Jeffcoat said.

'He backed into the vehicle and then fled, ' Jeffcoat said.

The suspect narrowly missed the two officers.

The damage to the undercover vehicle was minor, and the officers were not injured, he said.
