Police have located the car they believe was driven by two men wanted for allegedly kidnapping and shooting a woman in Colorado Springs last week, but both suspects are still on the loose.

Hamilton Lee Sullivan, 20, and Jorge Luis Pilo Hernandez, 36, were thought to be traveling together in the victim's black 2001 Chevrolet Impala, which was found in Douglas County Friday afternoon, police said.

The two men are wanted on suspicion of first-degree kidnapping and attempted first-degree murder after the woman was found at North 7th Street and West Bijou Street at 10 a.m. on Dec. 28 by someone walking a dog. She had been assaulted, police said, and shot in the head. As her medical condition improved, she was able to provide information about the incident, which led police to identify the suspects.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Colorado Springs Police at 444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP (7867). Callers do not have to give their name and could earn a cash reward.
