Colorado Springs police said plastic wrap was stretched across the intersection of Circle Drive and Van Buren Street, in front of John J. Audubon Elementary School, as a prank.

Police and drivers took notice of the plastic wrap early Thursday morning and officers cut it down before it could cause damage to any vehicles.

According to police, a similar prank in 2010 resulted in a driver going through the shrink wrap, cracking their windshield. Police have no suspects.
