Three people are wanted for their suspected involvement in a carjacking Thursday night at McDonald's, Colorado Springs police said.

The suspects approached the victim in his car in the parking lot of the restaurant at 324 East Fillmore St.

One of the suspects involved pulled a handgun on the victim, police said. The other two suspects acted as lookouts during the carjacking.

The suspect with the handgun left the victim's car while the other two involved went in different vehicles, police said. The victim's car was recovered Friday morning at 7-Eleven at Austin Bluffs Parkway.

Police are continuing to investigate the matter but do not have any suspects at this time.
