Police investigate two shootings

Colorado Springs Police are investigating two shootings - one Friday night and another Saturday morning.

At about 8:15 p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Illinois Avenue to investigate multiple calls of shots fired.

They found spent shell casings and a vehicle that had been shot several times in the 3000 block of North Hancock Avenue.

The vehicle was unoccupied and no one was injured, according to the police report. Police are also is investigating a report of shots fired into an apartment on the 1100 block of Mazatlan Circle at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.

The investigation revealed someone fired several rounds into the apartment. No injuries were reported.
