Police identify, hunt for suspected shooter in slaying of Colorado Springs man

A man slain Sunday and his suspected killer have been identified by Colorado Springs police.

Darryl Tyrone Clark, 33, was found dead in the 900 block of Yuma Street near East Yampa Street. The Colorado Springs man's body had obvious trauma, police said.

Monday, police issued an arrest warrant for Adonis Ondrae Anderson, 44, on suspicion of first-degree murder in the city's fifth homicide of the year. Anderson is considered to be armed and dangerous.

At this time last year, nine people had been killed in Colorado Springs.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 444-7000. Those who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 634-7867 or 1-800-222-8477.
