Colorado Springs police arrested a man on suspicion of drunk driving, vehicular eluding and felony criminal mischief after he crashed into the side of a Colorado Springs bar and then alledgedly tried to flee.

Matthew Green, 30, was booked into the El Paso County jail, records show.

Police responded to a disturbance at Cleat's Bar and Grill, on 6624 Delmonico Dr., around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, after witnesses reported a man struck the building with his car and drove off.

A short pursuit ensued when Green, identified as the driver, refused to stop for police, but he drove into a dead-end street and was arrested shortly after.

Police said the building sustained light structural damage and no one was injured.
