LAFAYETTE — Police say two people have been arrested in the death of a missing Colorado man whose body was found in Wyoming.

Lafayette police Cmdr. Brian Rosipajla told the Daily Camera of Boulder (http://bit.ly/1iaXaB9 ) on Saturday that 58-year-old Russell Britton and 26-year-old Moises Cazares Mendez were arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. Britton is being held in the Boulder County Jail without bond, and Mendez was in a San Diego jail on $1 million bond.

Police identified a body found outside Lusk, Wyo., on Thursday as 25-year-old Nathaniel Tallman, reported missing Jan. 23. No details on his death were released.

Police gave little information on the arrests. Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett told the newspaper he couldn't release more details, saying, "We won't rush to any conclusions or any announcements."
