Return to the nostalgia of the drive-in

Shuttle back to the 1950s when folks watched movies from the comfort (discomfort?) of their cars. The Blue Starlite Drive-In will open June 21 for the summer in the historic Eagle County mining town of Minturn in Eagle County, near Vail. The evening features a classic film on a 30-foot high pop-up screen, '50s-style customer service, classic movie candy and more classy fare, such as campfire-roasted s'mores and specially-prepared drive-in doughnuts. First up on June 21: "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," followed by "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on June 22 and "The Princess Bride" on June 24; bluestarlitedrivein.com. ~Jennifer Mulson

Colorado lamb sliders at Cerberus

If you like lamb you're going to love the Colorado lamb sliders at Cerberus Brewing Co., 702 W. Colorado Ave. Mark LeFebvre, executive chef and the bronze winner in the best chef category in The Gazette's 2017 Best Of The Springs magazine, is making his mark with food to pair with the beer created at this brewery. The lamb sliders ($13 for three) are a customer favorite. And why not? Goat cheese, brown sugar crispy bacon, roasted red pepper relish and garlic aioli spread amps up the flavor of the medium-well grilled lamb patties. Spicy arugula is a perfect partner for the tiny burgers. The finishing touch is the buttery brioche buns. Go for the apple & blue cheese slaw for a side. It's full of flavor, too. $13.
