Women are getting their due, and Rocky Mountain PBS introduces viewers to five little-known Colorado women, some contemporary, some historic. "Great Colorado Women," produced by the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame and shown on five Thursdays beginning today, opens with Marion Downs, a pioneer in audiology for whom the hearing center on Anschutz Medical Campus is named. Feb. 8 is Dana Crawford, the woman behind Larimer Square's renewal; Feb. 15 is Penny Hamilton, "Penny the Pilot;" engineer Jill Tietjen is Feb. 22; and former Miss America Marilyn Van Derbur Atler takes "An Incest Survivor's Odyssey" on March 1. Programs at 8 p.m. - Linda Navarro

You may be noticing the logo of a goateed goat new to the row of taps at your go-to local establishment. Since opening in August at the Lincoln Center, 2727 N. Cascade Ave., Goat Patch Brewing Co.has expanded and is stepping into the spotlight. The short-ish lineup was to be expected at first, but the fruity Goat Patch Punch remains a favorite flagship. Now the choices are greater. The hazy IPA has stood out from the recent host of hoppy offerings. At last visit, it was clear that bearded mastermind Darren Baze was pushing creativity with wintry brews such as a pistachio brown, a smoked ale and a cranberry tart Belgian. - Seth Boster
