As part of Health Week at Colorado College, the documentary "Heal" will be screened for free at 7 p.m. Monday at Cornerstone 131 (Screening Room), Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave. I wrote in December about this film, which looks at alternative healing methods, goo.gl/Xw7DHU. "Nobody has the space to listen to their own voice anymore. That takes a toll on your immune system," said filmmaker Kelly Noonan Gores. The film explores the benefits of visualization, meditation, positive thinking, reiki, emotionally focused therapy and other holistic methods to treat illnesses ranging from diabetes to cancer. Eye-opening.
