Jason Isbell has done it again. He's the best recording singer-songwriter in my book, and that's reinforced by "The Nashville Sound," the new, folky album by him and his band. It's not on the same level as 2013's "Southeastern," but then again, it's not fair comparing anything to the heartfelt songs that Isbell wrote in light of his getting sober.
