The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region has named a new president and CEO.

Boyd Williams, who has been with the YMCA for two decades, succeeds Dan Dummermuth who accepted a position with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee in February. Williams will oversee eight YMCA family centers, 15 child care sites, four outdoor aquatic centers, two metro district recreation centers and the YMCA's year-round resident camp and conference center, Camp Shady Brook in Deckers, Colo.

Williams began his career with nonprofit organization as the youth and family director for the Neenah-Menasha YMCA in Wisconsin. Since then, Williams has held various executive positions at YMCAs in Wisconsin andMissouri.
