Scared money won't make money. That's what Gazette columnist Paul Klee says, anyway, as he submits his best plays for Week 7 in the NFL:
1. Giants (+5.5) vs. Seattle
Best thing to happen to the Giants at Denver - aside from the Broncos' sleepwalk - was Odell Beckham Jr.'s absence. Eli Manning managed the flow without obligations to feed OBJ.
2. Cardinals (+3) vs. Rams (at London)
Note on nothing to do with this game: Denver loves Jake Butt, who's now practicing. "Special," Mike McCoy said. I have doubts. At Michigan, Butt ghosted against NFL factory Ohio State.
3. Patriots (-3) vs. Falcons
Not to be a Debbie Downer. But is it worth noting the Patriots' bye week precedes their trip to Denver? Ben McAdoo flummoxed the Broncos. Here's a hunch extra-week Bill Belichick can.
-Last week: 1-2 ATS; Season: 6-10 ATS
