Residents in Black Forest who had partial damage to their homes will have a chance Thursday night to learn more about their insurance options.

United Policyholders will hold a free recovery workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Woodmen Hights Campus of Woodmen Valley Chapel, 8292 Woodmen Valley View, near Woodmen and Marksheffel roads.

The workshop titled "Partial Loss Damage from Smoke, Ash and Heat" will feature a panel discussion of insurance and legal experts. People will learn about such things as documenting damage and resolving disputes with insurance companies.
