Park Service waiving entrance fees Monday

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — The National Park Service is waiving entrance fees to all its parks for nine days this year.

That includes Monday, when fees will be waived in commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The agency is also waiving entrance fees on Presidents' Day weekend, Feb. 15-17; the first weekend of National Park Week, April 19-20; the National Park Service's 98th birthday, Aug. 25; National Public Lands Day, Sept. 27 and Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
