One man was killed and another injured early Saturday in a single-vehicle rollover in eastern Colorado, the State Patrol said.

Investigators identified the dead man as driver Trenton Guerra, 38, of Leoti, Kan. A passenger, Keifer White, 23, also of Leoti, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. An update on his condition wasn't available.

The crash occurred at 2:08 a.m. Saturday on Colorado Highway 40 near the town of Cheyenne Wells, within 20 miles of the Kansas border. The men were eastbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when Guerra drifted off the side of the road, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle, the Colorado State Patrol said in a news release.

Investigators said "alcohol is considered a factor in the crash," but did not specify in a news release how they reached that conclusion.

The crash remains under investigation, the State Patrol said.
