One Colorado Springs woman was displaced Sunday when a fire ignited at the back of her home, severely damaging the roof and garage, according to the fire department.

The blaze, which remains under investigation, was reported about 9:45 a.m. from a residence on the 3000 block of Garland Terrace, off Circle Drive and East Pikes Peak Avenue.

A tweet from the fire department at 10:30 a.m. indicated the fire was under control.

The only resident of the home got out safely, but one of her pets was unaccounted for, according to the fire department.
