Jurors deliberating the fate of sniper-suspect Bruce J. Nozolino were released Wednesday evening after their second day of deliberations.

The six-woman, six-man panel is expected to resume deliberations on Thursday morning. The jury began deliberating about 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Nozolino, 52, is a former defense contractor accused in a 2008 murder and three earlier shootings prosecutors tie to a contentious divorce.

His attorneys say Nozolino is innocent and has been unfairly targeted by police and prosecutors.

During deliberations on Wednesday, the jury asked to examine a particular gun belonging to Nozolino, but only a picture of the weapon has been entered into evidence. The judge sent back a response indicating that "all evidence has been introduced."
