A single-engine airplane burst into flames following a hard landing at the Meadowlake Airport Monday, but no injuries were reported, according to fire department officials.

Falcon fire crews were among emergency responders who rescued the pilot and put out a small grass fire next to the runway caused by the plane crash, which was reported about 2:20 p.m.
