At Sertich Ice Center: Six Pine Creek players found the back of the net Monday as the Eagles routed Coronado.

Nathan Lucken scored a hat trick and Dawson Wright and Zach Zimmerman netted two goals apiece to help Pine Creek improve to 2-0.

Cherry Creek 7,

Cheyenne Mountain 4

At Sertich Ice Center: Cherry Creek rallied from an early 2-0 deficit with six unanswered goals to hand Cheyenne Mountain its second loss of the season.

Pueblo County 3, Liberty 0

At Sertich Ice Center: Jimmy Kellen turned aside 29 shots, but Liberty (0-2) remained stuck in a funk offensively.

Boys' Basketball

Pine Creek 62, Prairie View 60

At Fairview: Prairie View erased a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter, but Pine Creek held on to win in overtime at home over Prairie View (1-3) for its first victory.

Derek Keirns scored a team-high 16 points and was one of four Pine Creek (1-1) players to reach double figures. The 6-foot-2 senior also had six rebounds and two blocks.

Falcon 67, Poudre 65

At Falcon: The Falcons held off a late Poudre push to remain undefeated at 3-0 and win their first game at home.

Chances Matlock was a Falcon force again with a season-high 30 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Air Academy 55, Montbello 45

At Air Academy: David Louthan scored 21 points and drew four charges, to lead Air Academy (4-0) to its fourth straight win.

Girls' Basketball

Mesa Ridge 80,

Pueblo East 46

At Mesa Ridge: The Grizzlies (3-0) erupted for a season-high 80 points behind 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals by senior Gabby Purnell.

Girls' Swimming

Fountain Valley 112,

Fountain Fort-Carson 65

At Fountain Valley: Margot Twomey won the 100 freestyle in 58.66 seconds and the 50 freestyle in 26.22, as Fountain Valley defeated Fountain-Fort Carson at home.
