LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The University of Wyoming has set new public visiting hours for its Geological Museum.
The museum is now open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and is closed Sundays.
The museum reopened in January, following an extensive remodeling project that provides visitors with a more expansive, open and polished view of both old and new displays.
The museum features a 75-foot Apatosaurus skeleton a display of the most complete Allosaurus fossil ever found.
The museum's collection of fluorescent minerals has a new, impressive home in an exhibit area that focuses on minerals.
