Rebecca Jewett has been hired as executive director of the Palmer Land Trust, a Colorado Springs nonprofit that works to preserve open lands in southeastern Colorado. Jewett, who previously was executive director of the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, has a Master of Environmental and Natural Resources Law & Policy degree from the University of Denver. She has overseen a variety of environmental restoration and stewardship projects in Colorado and Utah, with an emphasis on the Pikes Peak Region.
