New hires, promotions & honors

Kevin McTernan, senior consultant at The Compass Group, has been chosen as president of the board for Leadership Pikes Peak for 2013-14. Michael Johnson, an attorney at Mountain States Employers Council, is president-elect, and Paul Perea, a vice president and private banking manager at US Bank, is secretary. Four new members also joined the board: Beth Braaten of Colorado Technical University; Mary Coleman of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital; Steve Dubay, deputy fire chief of the Colorado Springs Fire Department; and Tara Nolan of Tara Nolan Advisory Services.
