Walter G. Copan has been named president of TAEUS International Corp., a Colorado Springs engineering company focused on intellectual property. He'll be in charge of developing and implementing the company's growth strategy, expanding into new markets and overseeing corporate operations. Prior to joining TAEUS, Copan was managing director of technology commercialization and partnerships at the U.S. Department of Energy Brookhaven National Laboratory. He has a doctorate in physical chemistry from Case Western Reserve University,, and has held management positions at Lubrizol and Clean Diesel Technologies Inc.
