New features at Gazette.com: The Gazette teams with seasoned newsmen for Web content

The Gazette is launching a host of new video and podcast products this week on gazette.com.

Local television news veteran Eric Singer, along with video journalist Gram Krause-Lyons, will produce a series of videos five days a week that will appear on gazette.com for desktop and mobile viewing, starting Monday.

Here's the lineup:

- Monday's videos will be called Get A Job Monday, featuring people looking for work and companies that are offering jobs.

- Tuesday's videos will feature Eric's Slice of Life. Each Tuesday, he will highlight the best of our community and the good work that locals are doing in southern Colorado.

- On Wednesdays, Gazette food writer Teresa Farney will chronicle her quest for a perfect meal or drink.

- Thursdays will feature videos called Gram's Corner. Krause-Lyons will take his roving eye on the road to show you the sights and sounds of the region.

- On Fridays, Singer will showcase the military with a video called Military Salute, recognizing southern Colorado's military and those who support them.

The videos will appear on gazette.com starting at 7 a.m. daily.

In addition, twice a day, five days per week, Singer will keep you in the know with headlines and stories in podcast form, each morning and afternoon. The podcasts with be available on gazette.com at 5:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

"I'm excited that Gram and I can bring our video story telling to a Pulitzer Prize-winning news organization. It's a perfect fit and we are excited to video-tell our stories in southern Colorado," Singer said.
