Alan Jackson, Garrison Keillor and Fatima Maddox are among your best entertainment picks around Colorado Springs over the next days. Get out and have some fun:


- Mesa Ridge High School graduate Fatima "TNT" Maddox and the Harlem Globetrotters take the court at the World Arena at 7 p.m. with their brand of hoops, comedy and theater. Maddox graduated from Mesa Ridge in 2003 and Temple University in 2007 in 2007. She joined the Globetrotters in 2011. Catch up with Maddox here.

- Boot scoot your way to a new concert venue. Downtown Live, which is on the third floor of Cowboys Night Club, 25 N. Tejon St., opens and country radio station Y96.9 will be there to kick it off. - A local dancer will be on stage when University School of Colorado Springs graduate and former Ballet Society of Colorado Springs star Jackie Brouwer returns for "Face 2 Face," a work performed by the Christian ballet company Ballet Magnificat! - The Elders play at 8 p.m. at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center, 10 S. Parkside Drive.

- The Colorado Springs Philharmonic presents "The Music of Queen" at 8 p.m. at the Pikes Peak Center.

- It's "An Evening with Garrison Keillor" at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pikes Peak Center. "I'm still trying to figure out this storytelling," Keillor says. Read about how his show in Colorado Springs will be different from his weekly radio show.

- Cap a beautiful day in Black Forest with a chamber music concert as the Benedictine Sisters at Benet Hill Monastery salute "Unsung Voice: Women in Music II." Trio Paradis honors four major female composers. The 2:30 p.m. concert is in Our Lady of Peace Chapel, 3190 Benet Lane, and featured musicians are violinist Jeri Jorgensen, cellist Pam Chaddon and guest pianist Angelina Gadeliya playing the German Steinway of group pianist Robin Kissinger, who died on Christmas Eve. - The Colorado Latino Forum honors the legacy of Cesar Chavez with a march and celebration at 1 p.m. downtown. Gathering at the Pioneers Museum, 215 S. Tejon St., participants will hear stories of Chavez's life as a farm worker turned civil rights activist. - As the Air Force Academy turns 60, the AFA Band salutes "60 Years of Excellence" with a public concert at 7 p.m. in Arnold Hall Theater. Also featured is the Cadet Chorale. The concert is free and tickets, limit of four, are available at the Colorado Springs Business Alliance office, 102 S. Tejon St., Suite 430, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays; Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 300 Colorado Highway 105 in Monument, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays; and Arnold Hall Ticket Office at the Air Force Academy, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. weekdays.


- Brush up on everything Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow because the Geeks Who Drink trivia experts will hit town for an Avengers night at 8 p.m. at Phantom Canyon, 2 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Teams have a six-person max, with a $5 admission fee for each player. No coincidence that "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" opens in theaters the next day.
