Mountain Shadow Riders, the Colorado Springs chapter of Women On Wheels, will hold its 13th annual "Save the Twins" Breast Cancer Awareness Ride on Saturday.

Last year, riders raised nearly $24,000 for the Southeastern Colorado Affiliate of Komen for the Cure.

Mountain Shadow Riders was established in 1997. Like Women on Wheels, the group's purpose is to unite all female motorcycle enthusiasts.

Registration runs 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $10 and the first 400 to register receive a commemorative ride pin. The route is 125 to 150 miles.

An "After Ride" party, with prizes, music and a benefit auction, begins at 2:30 p.m.

The ride starts and ends at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center, 10 S. Parkside Drive. For more information, visit mountainshadowriders.com.
