AURORA — Police say a motorcyclist was killed on Interstate 70 in Aurora when his handlebars touched another motorcycle, causing him to lose control and fall under the wheels of a truck.

Police say the motorcycles were eastbound on I-70 on Monday in a construction zone where the highway narrows from two lanes to one. Investigators say the riders were attempting to pass the truck when the contact occurred and one was thrown beneath the wheels.

The other motorcyclist and the truck driver were not hurt.

No names have been released.
