Looking for a job?

A lot of Colorado Springs area companies may be looking for you.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center has lined up more than 100 companies for its Spring Job Fair on April 24, and says there are perhaps 2,500 jobs available.

The companies represent a range of sectors: government, retail, nonprofits, banking/financial and manufacturing, to name a few. (See the list at http://bit.ly/1heUfII).

The workforce center is offering a workshop, "How to Make the Job Fair Work for YOU," to help job seekers prepare for the event. Register for the workshop at https://www.formsite.com/ppwfc/Makejobfairwork/secure_index.html.

The job fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Elegante Conference and Event Center, 2886 S. Circle Drive. Veterans can enter at 9:30 a.m.,

Those planning to attend need to pre-register at www.ppwfc.org; research companies and apply online before the job fair; dress appropriately; and bring their Pikes Peak Workforce Center scan card for express entry.
