A Monument man was arrested this week in connection with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old Arapahoe County boy after the two met on an Internet chat site, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.

Zachary Hamilton-Smith, 19, was charged with sexual assault on a child following the alleged assault at the boy's home Monday afternoon, the sheriff's office said. Hamilton-Smith showed up at the victim's home shortly after the boy disclosed his address online.

Following interviews with the victim Tuesday, detectives arrested Hamilton-Smith without incident at his home. He is being held at the Arapahoe County Jail without bond.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information related to this incident, or other allegations or criminal behavior involving the suspect, to call 303-795-4711.
