At Cheyenne Shadows Golf Club: Lucas Howell shot 2-over-par 74 and Liberty placed three golfers in the top four to win the tournament.
Tyler Barcelon carded a 76 and Brandon Bervig - the team's No. 1 golfer - rebounded after shooting a quadruple bogey on his ninth hole to score a 77.
Per Liberty coach Stan Woodworth, the Lancers will look to qualify their first team to state in more than 10 seasons at the Colorado Springs Country Club on Sept. 18.
"We got high hopes to qualify as a team," the 18th-year coach said. "We're hoping to have a good run and see what these guys can do."
Pine Creek's Andrew Doyle took second at 75 and Rampart's Caden Bailey rounded out the top five with an 80. CSCS Invitational
At Country Club at Woodmoor: Cheyenne Mountain's Miles Wagner finished third at 10-over 82 to lead all area golfers at the invitational.
The Classical Academy's Nick Aranez tied for fourth at 86, and Peter Stinar shot an 87 for St. Mary's, which finished an area-best fourth as a team.
Trinidad's Lance Peters won the invite with a 77 and Lamar took the team title.
Cheyenne Mountain 10, Lewis-Palmer 6
At Lewis-Palmer: Katelynn Ralston struck out 17 and hit another home run as her remarkable sophomore campaign continued, and Cheyenne Mountain (10-1, 2-0 5A/4A Pikes Peak Athletic Conference) beat Lewis-Palmer (5-9, 0-2) for its 10th straight win.
Ralston allowed three hits and six runs - two earned - for the win. Her 17 strikeouts marked the sixth time this season the sophomore has whiffed more than 10 batters.
Ralston hit her fourth homer of the season and drove in three, and Sarah Neeley and Mikaela McCarson each added two RBIs for the Indians.
Ralston is hitting .500 and has a 0.71 ERA over 49 innings.
St. Mary's 20, Mitchell 1, 4 innings
At Leon Young: Morgan Trechter finished a single shy of the cycle as St. Mary's (6-5) beat Mitchell (0-11) in four innings.
Trechter drove in a career-most six runs, and Peyton Richter homered and added four RBIs for the Pirates, who have three straight wins.
Maddie Horsley added two RBIs.
Palmer Ridge 9, Falcon 5
At Palmer Ridge: Carson Saabye had three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs as Palmer Ridge (6-2, 1-1 5A/4A Pikes Peak Athletic Conference) beat Falcon (4-5, 1-1).
Sara Lynch also had two RBIs and earned the win on the mound. The sophomore allowed five runs - two earned - in seven innings.
Sam Patterson added two hits and drove in a run for the Bears, who have won four of their past five games.
Falcon has lost two straight since winning three in a row.
Canon City 21, Sand Creek 15
At Sand Creek: Canon City (2-9) and Sand Creek (2-8) combined for 38 hits and 14 errors.
JR Smith, Tia Schwartz and Hailey Mayl each had three hits for the Scorpions, who have lost four straight games.
Canon City's win snapped a losing streak of five.
Fossil Ridge 1, Liberty 0
At Liberty: Tina Bomberg had four shots on goal and Christina Jensen made two saves as Liberty (0-5) fell to Fossil Ridge.
The Lancers have been shut out in four games this season.
Littleton 4, Mitchell 0
At Garry Berry Stadium: Zach Maguire scored twice as Littleton (5-0-1) beat Mitchell (3-2).
The Marauders had only allowed one goal in their previous four games this season.
Lewis-Palmer 4, Peak to Peak 3
At Lewis-Palmer: Lewis-Palmer's Ben Rowland rallied to beat Ishan Kumar 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 3 singles match as the Rangers edged out Peak to Peak.
Lewis-Palmer also won three of the four doubles matches en route to a 5-0 record in dual matches this season.
Palmer Ridge 5, Rampart 2
At Palmer Ridge: Palmer Ridge's Bryan Hauke defeated Alex Nguyen-Lopez 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles match as the Bears beat Rampart.
No. 2 singles player Ben Capek and No. 3 Cole Bennett also had wins for the Bears.
In a marathon match, Rampart's No. 2 doubles team of Devin Burtley and Shiva Ganesh Pandian beat Braden Michelson and Jack Seymour 6-4, 5-7, 10-7.
The dual match was rescheduled from Aug. 22.
