Monday's prep roundup: Lewis-Palmer hockey improves to 7-1

Lewis-Palmer 8, Palmer 1

At Sertich Ice Center: Julian Claudio and Cameron Brummond each scored twice, Brummond added two assists and Pikes Peak region No. 1 Lewis-Palmer (7-1, 3-0 Peak Conference) cruised past Palmer on Monday.

Palmer's Brandon Driscoll scored 1:02 into the game to spot the Terrors (2-5, 2-2) the lead, but after that it was all L-P.

Nick Pavlik tied the game 10:23 into the first and Claudio scored the eventual game-winning goal 2:10 later.

Brayden Yatsu, Dmitri Smith and Lukas Lyszyk also scored for the Rangers.
