The xx

London Indie Pop trio The xx will bring their velvety, high-energy sound to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sunday. They'll be performing songs off their recent second album, "I See You." Bassist and singer Oliver Sim addressed a Las Vegas crowd Sept. 24, saying: "I think, more than ever, seeing you all together is a beautiful thing. Not to get too serious, but the world is a scary, scary place and to see you all together is beautiful. Festivals like this are a unifying thing." Tickets are $50.95-$56; axs.com.

'August: Osage County'

"August: Osage County" is a look at the dysfunctional lives of the strong-willed women of the Weston family, who are brought back home to Oklahoma during a family crisis. There's only one week left for Vintage Theatre's production, which runs through Oct. 15. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets: $25-$30; vintagetheatre.com.
