OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Nearly two dozen Nebraska museums are offering free admission this summer to active members of the military.

The free admission offer runs through September 1. It is part of a national program called Blue Star Museums. More than 2,000 museums nationwide are participating.

The Nebraska museums offering free admission include Chimney Rock and Fort Robinson in the Panhandle, Stuhr Museum in Grand Island and several state museums in Lincoln.

Details of the free admission program and a list of participating museums can be found online at http://arts.gov/national/blue-star-museums .
