Colorado Springs police were on the lookout for two unidentified men who allegedly fired several rounds at a person's car during an altercation Sunday near the intersection of South Nevada Avenue and East Las Vegas Street.

According to police, a man was driving on the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue about 8:30 a.m. when he spotted two men on the road arguing aggressively. The man told police he honked his horn to get them to move off the roadway and one of the men pulled a semi-automatic pistol, firing four rounds at him.

The driver was not injured and his car was struck once, police said. Both men fled before officers swarmed the scene, leaving behind only four 9mm shell casings recovered by investigators.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000.
