Gazette Premium Content Man treated for stab wound to neck

A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the neck Monday night after an argument outside a restaurant, police said.

Just after 9 p.m., officers were dispatched in the 200 block of North Academy Boulevard. after a caller reported a stabbing in the area. When officers arrived, they found the victim in a parked car waiting for medical assistance and could not locate a suspect.

Witnesses told police that two men were arguing near La Vaca Chondo before the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck. The victim hurried back to a car and was driven away.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was treated and admitted for observation of a non-life threatening injury.
