John Warn, 33, is being sought by the Fremont County Sheriff's Office in connection with a shots fired call and added to their county's "most wanted" list on a $10,000 felony drug warrant.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Don Pinover said Warn was identified as a person of interest in a shooting that happened Friday night that is still under investigation.

Friday night deputies responded to a disturbance where a single shot was fired and two individuals involved were not located. Pinover said witnesses were unable to provide any credible information to authorities about what happened or who was involved.

Warn's name was circulated as a possible person who knew what occurred Friday and again Saturday when Canon City police tried to stop a car seen leaving the residence where the shooting had taken place, Pinover said.

A man was seen exiting the vehicle and running from the deputies, but they never caught up to him and there was no confirmation that Warn was in fact the runner.

Pinover said there were no charges against Warn other than an unrelated felony drug warrant and the shots fired call was still under investigation.

Warn was described as a male, 6-foot-3 tall and 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information can call the Fremont County Sheriff's Office at 719-784-3411 or Crime Stoppers at 719-275-STOP.
