Man shot twice in robbery

Colorado Springs police are searching for two men suspected of shooting a man in both legs during an alleged robbery Monday night.

A man was found with two gunshot wounds, one to each leg, at an apartment on the 200 block of North Murray Boulevard around 10:26 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries as police interviewed neighbors at the Hill Park Apartments. The neighbors told officers they heard shots being fired but no one saw the incident, police said.

After speaking with the victim, investigators discovered the man was shot during the alleged robbery. The victim described one of the alleged suspects as 6-foot-1 tall and the other about 5-foot-5. Both were dressed in dark clothing.
