Man shot in chest outside Colorado Springs Walmart Supercenter

Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who shot someone outside of a Walmart Supercenter early Tuesday.

Police were contacted about 4 a.m. when a man with a gunshot wound in the upper chest was admitted to St. Francis Medical Center.

He told police he had been walking near the Walmart at 3201 E. Platte Ave. when he was approached by an armed man who "said something," then fired his gun.

The victim was treated for serious injuries. Police have not identified any suspect.
