A man suspected of driving a stolen motorcycle and abandoning it when police tried to stop him was arrested late Thursday night near Memorial Park.

Travis Rose, 34, was taken into custody after officers found him huddled in the corner of a shed somewhere near the park, according to Colorado Springs police.

Officers suspect he was driving a motorcycle that was stolen in 2013, and that he fled when officers tried to stop him at about 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Officers used a police dog to coax Rose from the shed, and he was taken to Memorial Hospital following his arrest.
